blackoutauto got a reaction from Lauren @ FlexiShield in Flexishield
if it is as good as they say, i'm sold!
I like software that can offer full wraps around every wheel well, I like the overkill
almost every software company claims to have good and accurate patterns but its all just "good enough"

blackoutauto reacted to no ma'am in New 3 series 2020?
Update.... doors were a bitch to hook back over seal, more so than x5/x7 especially back doors I wasn't nice to them and they complied

blackoutauto got a reaction from Super Dave in 2019+ Silverado 1500 (new body style)
They hook over but I feel it's the hooks over quite far. Would be a pain to hook it back over. I tried then gave up.

blackoutauto got a reaction from pbalentine in New Ford Explorer back door wings
JAM some window bones and wedge tools inside the seals. leave it for about 1 hour and then come back to it. Loose as a goose after and no need to trim.
I learned this from another tintdude member

blackoutauto got a reaction from CaliTINT in Sedan vs Crossover pricing
same goes with difficulty level, lets say i charge 495 for 7 windows on an audi s4 which takes me 2 hours to do , I also charge 495 for a kia optima which takes me 1hour to do and much easier. I win some and lose some. Hope most the time I win.

blackoutauto reacted to Supreme in Suntek's new 72" rolls
Shots fired against Suntek hey, not sure why. Well they did market it at SEMA and they also did installs of it I believe, which one could assume wouldn't be done if there was quality issues.
No one ever said it was exclusive, just that they are first to announce its release as it is a much anticipated size for some. If Premiumshield has quality issues with their 72" rolls then that's their issue, and if you are not expecting much from it then why would you release it, don't release it at all until you are certain the quality is high. I wouldn't be comparing the sub par quality of Ventureshield to the better quality and more forgiving films of today.

Most people quote to low for the one piece cuz they are to scared of the customers reaction. don't be softies ad bump it up. Less headaches

technology has changed many new products now are thicker and easier to use and shrink.

blackoutauto got a reaction from minty in Llumar PPF vs Suntek PPF 10 years warranty
I dont know what 3m or xpel charges per square foot but i consider the product itself to be in the same playing field if not better then 3M or Xpel. Software maybe not so much but the clarity and stain resistance it is one of the best imo
