  1. @Carmeltint.com how is that X100 in general? Why do you prefer it over other slips? Just curious.
  2. @Ross My dude, amazing job! After you use it for a while lmk if there's anything i should change on that drawing. I like the attachments on the sides.
  3. I put the cheapest film SolarFX sells on my beater pickup truck to check it out about 4 years ago and it's a 5 year warranty film (so i installed it around same time as original poster), it's sits in direct sunlight all day long. Classic Series black nr 1-ply. Zero fade or change of color, when i roll the window down to see the hidden top edge there's no difference from the direct sunlight portion below. I'd hate to be the person to have to remove this film someday, zero signs of glue failure. It's actually a really nice looking film, still super clear and it looks better than a lot of 2 ply. I recommend it if you're into a 1 ply that lasts. My 2 cents on it
  4. Seriously? I love tf out of them. Only in NJ or everywhere?
  5. GF made Vegan Potato Leek soup for dinner, was amazing, leftovers for lunch!
  6. I was gonna say, gotta watch that sudden good surge, typically before a market crash you get a surge like that
  7. What's the success rate on the cuts with DAP?
  8. @Ross Google J-mold or J channel here's one: http://www.wgsonline.com/glass/353-10908.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwldHsBRAoEiwAd0JybZrbWseFxZq2jtwCBn9RmTUlfKWBDug7J0hdpSSGTe25DuTOZr3s6xoCLUgQAvD_BwE
  9. Amazing that people can still recognize a background voice from a song released in 1979 lol gotta tell my vegan gf that one lol i can't wait for her to make pudding
  10. Duuuuude, looks amazing! The 3'-0 long base looks better, i was going to call out 3'-0 like you did but i wanted it to fit thru doorways if needed though i can't think of many reasons for that need lol. The vertical sides should be screwed into that little piece for extra bracing. The only concern i had was i tried to do without the diagonal bracing like shown in the pic below, i made the connection at the base beefy to where it should be ok, but let me know if you ever feel it needed the brace or if it doesn't feel solid or any input and i'll change the drawing and repost. I also was thinking of using a 6"+ roof gutter centered under the wood at the bottom of the glass so the water collects and goes out the side. Are those 3/8" lag screws you used to connect it? Great job and great choice in film!
  11. I kinda got that feeling too, maybe i should ask for $20k lol He seems to want a classroom environment, wants to do it how he thinks is the right way, which i appreciate, just surprised there aren't more qualified teaching facilities available. Doesn't seem to be any here in the Northeast. He may have to settle for being a trainee somewhere.
  12. He is looking for a school, not some guy who thinks he's super special and wants everyone to know.
  13. Doesn't want a video type course, wants to go to a teaching facility.
  14. Kid was asking me if i can recommend a good tint school he can go to, i came up blank. He seems pretty smart, he doesn't want to learn online or with videos or in someones shop (like everyone suggests to him), he wants a hands on classroom instruction that covers auto/residential/commercial and gives him proof that he was trained. He seems to be really serious about doing it right. Any good school or training like that anyone can recommend that teaches it all?
  15. i googled "2 or 3 gallon pump sprayer with wheels" and a bunch came up
