Try global . We had s sample of it while we were selling suntek carbon and llumar, was so impressed we stopped all the other films and now only use Global and nothing else. Suntek carbon scratches bad, the llumar just kept on falling off. Too many warranty issues from both.Never heard of anything bad about global or a warranty claim.try a sample first.

Peanuts happen because of irregularities on the line. Certain vehicles are more prone to them. Try using 000 steel wool to clean and thin out the lines. Here’s an old trick to get rid of stubborn peanuts. Paper wrap hard card and hold film to the line and heat to near blister. Then continue to hold will spraying slip to cool from the outside. The rapid change in temp will make the film tack.

The smoother the shrink the less likely to get peanuts.  If the film doesn't look pretty smooth if you pull it off the glass when you are done shrinking then you need to learn to move different or a better technique.

I don't hardly use my over under technique anymore as the windows aren't as curved.  Check it out though and see if you can pick something up. On my signature should be a link...

That trick will work on most. For super stubborn peanuts you’ll need to heat before and after the line to seal off any moisture that can return to the peanut before performing above.

Did you manage to get hold of any Global? I use PMX coatings. Suntek customer service was an issue so we tried a sample of global and found it to be a better film.

Don't worry about that if it bugs you  get a stainless steel flat razor blade and cut it out very softly....its above the dot  matrix it will  be fine.....cut like the shape of a C around it....

Liberal  high velocity application of Clay bricks or cinder blocks to the exterior surface of the glass will immediately remove the problem .

Out of those 2 go for QDP. I'm also in the UK and tried both and Suntek is just horrible. The film scratches unbelievably easy plus the adhesive is weak. I'd get peanuts on a lot of back windows with Suntek. I personally don't like the greenish hue it has either. From experience Global is better in every aspect

Another film I've been using for about 9 months now is ASWF. It hasn't got a good reputation on this site at all but so far from experience it has the best adhesive and scratch coat I've used. The only downside with ASWF is that it has a blue colour to it which looks a bit tacky imo.

All you'll need to do is a search on here and find numerous instances where carbon is failing at about the four year mark. That's all I need to know for my business.

I would go global if you can get your hands on it. I don't know what's available there but that's a rock solid film. Just tell the suntek guy to get over it
