  1. I alternate between cutting vinyl and cutting tint and have to set the blade depth manually each time. I do have a second blade holder but that one has a 60* blade for PPF. I don’t get rough cuts but I do get times when I didn’t have the depth set properly. I am usually at 55g force and always do a test square or two to get it dialed in before I cut. Takes 30 seconds to make sure it’s right.
  2. I am using a brand new Summa S1 D160 along with FVD Software and so far for window film and vinyl it has performed exceptionally well. I had to slow the speed way down as it was way too fast for my comfort level. Really happy with this machine. This machine speeds up my tint process tenfold over cutting by hand.
  3. Thanks, yeah with it being mounted a hockey puck width from the wall it sits on top and lights up the backside nicely.
  4. My hockey puck peel board. I used a 2x4 mounted horizontally to hold the dual pane window up, countersunk mounting screws in the pucks which set the glass 1.5” away from the wall, and gave me a place to mount the drip rail which directs the soapy water into a catch bucket. It’s 66” wide x 42” high. Would be good if it was a little bit taller but the price was right and it works.
