  1. Thank you for the information. 12 doesn’t cut the pattern enough and 13 seems perfect except for a few spots that have little bibs that don’t cut through. Should I change my blade for new one? I just put a new one in 2 weeks ago but I never had a cutting strip until right now.
  2. Force of 13 seems to be the best. 14 will cut through the clear layer and 12 doesn’t cut enough. But 13 doesn’t seem to be a full even cut throughout. Especially on the corners. Any tips? Cutting strip installed, blade re-adjusted
  3. I bought a cutting strip based on your recommendations. When looking at it, it seems there is not even a cutting strip. I will install tomorrow and give an update.
  4. What would the cutting strip have to do with the way it cuts windows?
  5. Hello all, I recently purchased a Graptech FC8600-100 and am having some cutting problems. I purchased the Graphtec 30 degree blade also just FYI. I am using the CORE software also. Settings are set 13 or 14 force and depth is also set to .5mils. When I go to cut film, it is either not enough cut or too much. On force 13, it wont cut through the clear layer at all but it wont completely cut the windows. When i go to peel the film, it reps and tears in areas where it was not completely cut. On force 14, it cuts too hard and goes through clear layer in some areas but perfect in other areas. The cut is very inconsistent and I cannot seem to find the right setting that makes a solid cut for the entire trace of a window. Any help is much appreciated as I would love to use the plotter but I just cant right now. I wasted lots of film messing with many different settings and resetting everything.
