  1. @Dano thanks for your detailed info i will put all that into consideration, appreciate it alot ! 🫡
  2. Thanks for the response Bham, i also was thinking Texas , i have 10 years experience , i think car wrapping is quite popular there also. Just curious about how a fresh shop would do out there amongst others well established.
  3. currently in Ireland but want to go to the US, any other states you would reccomend ? thanks
  4. anyone know what the market is like for Tinting and Wrapping in LA? thinking of moving out there to set up shop
  5. Hello , been using aswf (american standard window film) for the last 6 years , have you guys tried it or have any opinions on it , also what is your most recommended brand 🤔
  6. I hate myslef more and more every time i install film on these quarter windows , i try my best to do "the perfect install" but the space is so small to work with via pillars to have no contamination , if there is a method to this i would really love to hear it 😪
  7. good workmanship , what tape is it you use mate ? also taping off all that is time consuming so im guessing the results are worth it for you regards clean install, do you charge above average accordingly?
  8. hi dano , appreciate the quick response mate , i agree with you 100% , the dealers call me out and they are audi, bmw , which provide sealed dust free rooms with fantastic lighting , for the smaller dealers we have a workshop 5 minutes down the road which i will install the tint , the going price for example a back half of car is 150 euro (im in ireland), so if you get regular callouts im debating whats a fair minimum that works out good for me , and them , i work for an employer so im aware that when i go solo i have a shit load to learn about all this, but its exciting to think about ngl man 🙂
  9. to be honest i thought of tapimg headliner as a step too far , as i work for someone else , so you believe misting deck, cover it in paper towels reduces contamination? do you also tape pillars too or is that too much? thanks for the response btw
  10. do you do that for every rear window install? would paper towels not shift if your doing the reverse roll method?
  11. Hi, i am running a tinting shop for the same employer the last 6 years , i like to think im experienced enough to slowly start on my own as i have built connections over the years , just looking for opinions and advice on what is the right prices to charge car dealerships per car that will be giving regular business to me , i understand i would have to give a deal , but want a profesional opinion on whats acceptable to charge per car to keep things profitable and worth my effort , i would greatly appreciate advice on this , thanks 😎
