  1. Thanks. I agree that these issues exist. But what could be the answer to my question in terms of the practice? Or is it fully individual? That's interesting. Why is that happening?
  2. Hi guys, we are a new flat windows tinting business, and we came across a windows installing company that proposes us to work as their contractors. What could be the conditions in such a partnership from your point of view? For example, we could charge them 20% less then the market price, letting them earn this 20% share. Does it seem reasonable? What's your view on this issue? Thank you
  3. Thanks Roach, its helpful. Does it make sense to call existing businesses and ask for their pricing openly? Like, I am new and want to know the basic local pricing. Don't need any your secrets.
  4. Hello gentlemen, could someone please kindly advise what insurances and licenses should we get for a new tinting business? Located in San Francisco or San Mateo, CA. Will do mostly the flat window tinting, car tinting is a second priority. Also if we add advertising print and application, will it demand some additional licence? And finally, does it matter, what is fixed in the LLC formation document? We started with "marketing", now we add tinting, and probably will add advertising activities. What do you think? Thank you!
  5. Hi everybody, I plan to open a flat windows tinting business in San Francisco, CA. My partner is a pro in tinting with 15 years experience in our home coutry, I am a marketer. We need to set up prices correctly, not to mess up the existing market. Could you please advise the approach to price policy, or probably, the exact cost of the most common jobs? We will start with the most accessible films. We have an LLC, and plan to get all the insurances and licenses, and grow a legitimate business as we had in home country. It could look naive, but i believe that it's always best to ask for advice. I would highly appreciate it. Thank you.
