Guest cj13
I have a 1999 Chevy Suburban and the security light came on. I tried to crank it and it would crank for a minute then cut off. I have had this problem in the past. I had it towed in, but as soon as it got to the shop it started. But the problem never seems to last that long. Is there something that I can do myself instead of having it towed in the shop, if so let me know where I need to check so I can do it myself. Thank you! wndotint
Nope. Just let the truck set for about 10-15 minutes. It will reset itself. Do you have a remote start installed?
tinterluigi
You car is equipped with a Passlock 2 system from the factory. If u have a Remote start, the module was probablly bypassed. The problem is wit the installation? If SECURITY light blinks it will shut down the fuel punp and not allow the car to start. Get it fix or remove tha starter and get it wired right.
