2. Do the edges have to be sealed if in a high humidity area?

This is my first s&s install. I have two large jobs (each 700 square feet) with 4 mil. I normally precut before going out to the job, reverse roll and trim. For s&s film, do you recommend my usual method, or should I bring a FilmHander out to the job and cut one pane at a time at the jobsite?

When bidding on large buildings, it would be nice to be able to offer an energy savings calculation. Does anyone know of any programs or softwares out there?

First, for years, I have been using either neutral films or dual reflective films. I am thinking of changing to a standard reflective, specifically the Madico RS550 as my mainstay, and the RS440 as my darker film. For storefronts, where visibility inward is critical, I am thinking of using the SG550. The RS films have better solar energy rejected/VLT performance and yet, about the same reflectivity as some of the neutrals or dual reflectives. Because of the pricing and performance, I am thinking that the customer would get more "bang for the buck".

Second, if not the standard reflective, perhaps the SunScape Select. How do you feel about Madico's standard films compared to the SunScape Select films?
