Yea, compare their film to others and look at the preformance, the optical clairity, etc...
That should give you the answer.
Yea, it will still do the job, and save you a few pennys per sq ft, but in my own opinion there are better made films out there.

What I do on those is lay it on the ground and just guesstimate how much to trim off erroring on the side of excess. Even if there is 6 inches of extra, thats not enought to pull it off the glass and on to your head... roll on to glass and trim. (free hand is the way to go on the round ones.
Simple and quick...

Never really heard his music before, but just while I was checkin out TD, I heard all this swearing outside... Turns out he is playing this out door concert just below my place
Looks like I'll be getting no sleep tonight I'm going to head out onto the dack with a brew and give you a concert review in the morning....

Madico requires some extensive training as well to get into the Protekt Safety Shield program also. Most dealers can still buy some regular security films like 12 and 8mil, though. I haven't taken the course yet as I'm not pushing high security films yet (+ the cost of taking the course in the states). Soon

I come across this a lot here because of a pile of bad units that were manufactured here during the 90's. First I would point it out to them that the seal is gone and there is a chance that others in the home may be bad as well (good to mark it on the invoice) But I wouldn't make them change it before being filmed. I give them the choice of filming the bad units but recomend changing them first. I find it surprising that most don't really care about the fog and just want their window done but it is nice to get the job over with in one shot.
One method of not scaring off the customer is if you can get on with a reputable glass shop in the area, offer the customer to arrange an estimate from X glass shop that gives your clients a discount on glass replacements. This makes it a bit easier for them to decide on replaceing the glass.

If you check in the "Catalog of window tinters" at the top, right of this page, there are a few guys in Ontario. You can check with them if they have suntek. There isn't a whole lot of it up here yet.

Happy Canada day to all the canadian tinters and an early happy 4th of July to those down south!

I only thing I have to ad to this absurd thread is that the Madico specs are listed under the SPECS on the main menu.
And mr homeowner, keep in mind that there two, I mean, a few on here that are just here to confuse people.... The gila film is working, it will make your home a whole lot cooler. Yes there are better quality films out there with better preformance. Your home, your call.
