Learn to live with it. You will NEVER have a perfect window.

Turn the key on, press the valet switch and let go. The light should go off.
-
turn the key on, press the valet switch 7 times and hold on the 8th push. The alarm should chirp 7 times. After the chirps, press the top left button. The alarm should make some more noise. Let go of valet switch turn off key. The remote should now be programed with button one = arm, button 2 = disarm, etc. I can't help with the manual, DEI is insanely picky about who they let on their website. They wouldn't want to help anyone but their coveted dealers.

There are several training courses, one in Euless. Call 1(800)888-2256, ask for David Mussett. Ask him some questions.

No one in the CHICAGO area need help?
-
just a part-time gig. August 6-7, in Chicago. I'm spending all my dough on the plane tickets for my wife and me, so I'll need some spending cash while I'm there. Anyone?
-
You probably need to reprogram the remote/s. I don't remember how, but I'm sure you can find something on the web.
-
I use a clear liner to cut a pattern on the outside, then use the liner piece as a pattern on the tint. Cut the tint just a little bigger. Also, cut the rubber out on the inside of the window, just a little.

You will need a relay set for reverse polarity. Purple/yellow in driver's kick panel.
-
why not just remove the dinger box on that truck?
-
Nope. Just let the truck set for about 10-15 minutes. It will reset itself. Do you have a remote start installed?
-
what's up okie? Haven't seen you around in a long while. How's the fire biz down there?
-
or just turn the shock down a little.
-
Check the Makes and Models forum. Just about every trouble vehicle is in there. Do a search on the keywords you listed and see what you get.
-
I don't offer the vinyl, they get it no matter what. I don't mind spending another 5 minutes and a couple bucks per car and have it look perfect.
-
it's under the driver's side dash somewhere. It should be a black push-button. It should be mounted to the plastic part of the dash or maybe the kickpanel. If you can't find the valet button, find the brain and unplug the main harness.

What did you use to bypass the Passlock system?
-
The remote start antenna usually goes on the windshield, which should not have film on it. Plus, $700 is more than enough, even with the needed bypass kit and interface.
-
I've never heard of pan am. I doubt you'd be able to get a "universal antenna". Other than that, I'd say you're on your own. Let this be a lesson to people looking to save a buck or two. If you don't do this for a living, leave it to someone who does. Not only will you get a warranty, but you'll probably get a better product.

professional install is recommended, call around to local shops and see what brands they use, then post again. Oh yeah, Bulldog sucks.
-
so what brand is the alarm? What kind of car? Nevermind, I'll call Miss Cleo and she'll tell me everything I need to know.

like this? I made this one on Iprint.com.
Viper Alarm System

you have to use a relay to trigger the alarm from the door pin switches. The pulse that the car sends out after it has been sitting for a while is not strong enough to energize the relay, so it will not go off for no reason.
