2013 SL550 CTX 15 w air80 windshield (wasnt done in the pic upsold it after)...Cakewalk. Rear quarters roll up when the top is down. Behind is a 2012 Escalade. CTX15 2 fronts, ctx5 sunroof and air80 windshield.
Also tinted a 08 camry, 94 civic coupe and a 2010 CRV but didn't feel like taking pics heh.

As easy as the rear deck comes out, it makes for an easy rear 1/4 glass install too. I pull them. At least on Passats but I can't say we've had a newer jetta in recently.

Eg hatchback...
Which model. Anything other than a CX sucks. Damn rear wiper wiring harness. Then again those always sorta suck if you do them right and dissasemble the struts and pray they were'nt cross threaded at one time or another heh.

All week, slammed. Tomorrow...over booked. Today NADDA! I guess everyone wanted to wait and see what happened.

Sadly you can't see a thing from the outside. They are tinted glass on the exterior.

Workin off a barge...nope can't say I've tried that hah. Looked like fun.
and here is the finished product from last week. Deco blue over frost. Came out exactly as planned I love it when that works. The frost toned down the blue giving it a sky effect. My phone pics it up as a deeper blue but in reality it is a softer light blue. Again these panes are about 9 feet tall and nearly 5 feet wide and if you have ever worked with deco film...double that pita due to layering it on frost. Talk about a delicate grip!

Today was a day filled with Glacier. This is just one entry way out of 3. all 3 are identical so you get the idea. Silicone on half the glass, door push handles all had to be removed fun fun. Had to leave a couple reveals due to the framing and gaskets but it came out nice. forgot to take pics of the "Emergency Exit" signs. Every door had to get one of those too hah. Just when you think you are done the mngr comes over and asks if you mind putting these on. Why sure how many? 24?@!@!
I feel like I havent tinted a car in a week although we did a mazda6 this morning before heading out. At least we are staying busy right?

Meant to post here last week but too dang busy. So...
Last thursday was up in the mountains with some enerlogic. Hard to get good after pics due to the porch and the immediate drop-off down the mountain heh.
View off the porch.
Friday/Saturday was this. GE training facility. Middle panes are 108"x60" 1/2" double pane (1" thick). No room for scaffolding so up on the walkboard we went. Finished up the frost white Saturday and will be going back this coming friday to install the deco blue layer. Going for an effect look.
This is going on Friday. Weather has been very cool so we gave it a little cure time to work with just to be safe.
These guys get to play with an 80" aquos. They put on a movie while they were there and wow does it have a nice picture. Look at the size compared to the handler hah.
Hard card scratching tint

What card are you using? For a hard card and point card I use a pink (cut in half), gold on the outside for shrinking (or a soft card) and the whites I never use. Never liked em. Years ago I was trained to use whites but they scratch too easy. Then it was blacks...same thing. I have found the pinks to work the best and sand baby butt smooth.
