I used to use my tap water, but my refrigerator has an inline filter for the drinking water on the door, I actually fill up old milk jugs and take them to my shop to use when I fill my sprayers. Honestly I don't notice a difference from the tap water... Kinda just a placebo thing I guess. lol

SOrry about your misfortune, but as stated above, take the time and work through the proper channels.. Alot of people have Shawns phone # and facebook name but I imagine its just like returning something at wal mart so to speak. Go to the customer service and not the cash register although the cash register can take care of the problem...
I also understand the thought in your head of how many cars you have tinted that could possibly be coming back... But bottom line you have a game plan to think about here. Let SolarFX communicate back to you, meanwhile figure out what you can do that you are in control of.

How hot do you turn yours?? Hahaha I did before and started smelling the film and hearing it pop kinda like rice krispies...not very loud but slightly

I started wet shrinking years ago, and switched to dry maybe 2 years ago... I feel like I forgot the wet shrink..lol.... But I am dryer sheets and soap both... Only pulling on vettes but that is very rare. I would actually like the opportunity to utilize that skill and improve it. I use the mactac like card and run my gun at about 500 degrees.. I need to learn how to let the heat work for itself, perhaps trying the ryker method once again... I tried it probably 4 months ago and it didnt work well for me

Made a house call to tint this F 550, great custys, I have done 4 of the families vehicles in the past 3 months, and They want me to do a tractor in the spring! Excited for different projects!

Mate just a couple years so still fresh but right in the thick of it none the less. Love it! Got a good supplier who gives the world of support to me too though but yeah little early to be out on my own but loving it! I remember you posting about being an auto tinter but wanting to get into Fg. Ive done a bit of it now and a couple good jobs too but yeah still just getting into Fg so if u come across anything hard t decent let us know so I could learn something from it too
Will do!!! I have 2 decent size jobs lined up for spring, right now its a brisk 14 and custys say they want to wait till April or May... I liked that house you did!

Tinting?? I did my first window @ 15, but didnt really tint other than 1 or 2 times a year until I was probably 21 and gradually picked up from there. You?

Sweet deal, I tinted one over.the privacy glass fortunatly... But that back glass was a pita, and I used the same methid as you!

I have actually never tinted a Z, they are rare where I live. They look like cake tho

I have caught tintwiz posts on IG, they have a few short videos that have popped up like a tutorial. Looks like it could be helpful to keep an organization of what you have on schedule.
