That's a great point. I just tested it and I don't notice anything specifically in terms of sound or visual pressure. I'm baffled how it could have appeared after getting the re-tint and it seems there are more questions than answers at this moment.

Wouldn't more of the window be scratched if the mouldings were the culprit? This car has never been through an automatic car wash either and is garage kept. I found another thread from 2021 where someone had something similar and other users were thinking it was from shrinking the tint and then the hard card scratching due to rushing. Once again, no idea as I am not an expert but just left a little baffled.

What's even more odd is this is the second time I've been to this place. This tint job is actually a warranty re-tint so this wasn't evident with the old tint but is now obvious after the redo. To add context - all windows were tinted and re-tinted with the same % and brand. That is why I'm baffled because something happened that caused it but I can't determine what.

Hi, this is my first post so I apologize if I am in the wrong place completely but I recently had my windows tinted and now have these consistent scratches. Each photo represents a different window so all 4 of my roll downs have the same scratching pattern that goes for around 6 inches across and 1-2 inches down from the top of the window. These scratches are not the entire length of the window but instead in the same spot in each window. The tint shop I went to said they did not do it so I am looking for some expert opinions on if they could have done this and furthermore, how it could have happened?
