  1. Yeah this is a useful forum with lots of knowledge, I probably will I'm grateful! Is there such thing as a difficult car to tint? Car is a BYD Seal (not sold in the US), l thought it'd be a fairly straightforward job I'm surprised aboutthe quality even 2nd time around. The tinter was recommended by a family member, and doing research they had been around for a long time and only had 5 stars out of 5 from google from 50+ reviews, so wondering if it's possibly the car rather than the installer. Looking around at a couple of reputable tint shops, one uses XPEL Prime XR and the other Llumar IRX. Is one better than the other?
  2. So these are the photos of the two worst windows, I think I know the answer but would like to hear it from everyone else... There also looks to be some adhesive on one of the frames, but that's not too big a deal Is this worth a retint in a proper shop?
  3. Thanks for your advice everyone. The tint guy ended up coming back and admitted it should not be contaminated like that and redid the job. I'll post some photos shortly but I can clearly see some specks on each window. Would appreciate your views on the 2nd time job and if getting it done at a shop somewhere else would yield better results or if this is as good as it gets.
  4. So even for an mobile job, is this below acceptable and worth getting the guy to fix? Definitely will go onsite for next time.
  5. Had a mobile tinter come and apply Rayno S9 nano-ceramic coat on a new sports sedan. I get that no job is perfect, but there's a fair amount of dust bubbles and a couple of fibers trapped on all 4 doors. Thoughts on this job? Am I being unreasonable in asking for this to be fixed?
