  1. I got lucky.  First window i did was one of the front door port windows. I could feel my red dot dragging when I trimmed the seal. Any damage was hidden by outer seal.  You are gonna get one clean chance at thst seal so sharp blade and make it count if you are gonna trim.

Heat gun the alarm sticker, pick back with finger nail.  Right temp and all the glue is coming off, assuming new sticker.

I had a few glue spots that I used a plush microfiber towel and rubbing alcohol and wiped away, again keeping glue workable with heat gun.  It's cold here so summer sun would be enough heat really.

Tint slime wipe down with same micro towel. Blue max glass to clean. Install film.

NO BLADES OF ANY KIND TO INSIDE FACE OF GLASS FOR ANY REASON!!!

This is for the first one you do.  After the first one, send the rest down the road.  I'm all ready not happy about having 4 windows out there with my warranty attached to this future shiz show.   Actually, no, my lulu kung fu is strong.  I'm worried they are gonna peg it with their seat belt and want it replaced

  2. 36'' roll should get you about 20 back glasses, a 24 or 20 inch roll should get you roughly 8 cars not counting the back glass.

So with one 36'' roll and 2-20 or 24 inch rolls, you should be able to do approx 15-18 cars depending on the window size. This is saying you don't flop on a window.

  3. Not meaning to come off in a harsh way, but it's not the tinters fault for crap like that. We can't control what the manufacturers of automobiles do and don't do, like in this case, a seal that is probably not felted from the factory. Why should it be our fault it scratched? Isn't it your fault for not properly cleaning out your window seals on a regular basis to keep dirt from getting in there and scratching the film?

This is what I would do since it never hurts to ask.....go to the dealership your car came from, or just a Honda dealer, explain the problem, pay them to felt your seals, go back to the shop that tinted it and see if they will work you a deal on a removal and retint.

Yeah, it sucks because you already paid for it, but seriously, who's fault is it really?

  4. Cut bottom edge, mark mirror side for cutting later, crack window, shift glass forward as much as you can, cut top edge and down the side as far as you can, pull film off and finish trimming and cut mirror side, install.

  5. Remote starters...how do they work. For the consumer I mean. I've been thinking of getting one for my wife's car and maybe my car and I just was curious as to how they worked. Okay, you push your key fob and it starts the vehicle, but could somejump in and drive it off? I would assume the answer is "no" because there isn't a key in the ignition correct? Does it just bypass the ignition remotely, is that how they work?

Sorry for the stupid questions, but I really have no idea how these bad boys work. :hmmm

  6. you mean your shop is suppose to be dirt free? :lol

    :spit

We do the same with the pressure washer, and we also have a large floor sqeegee (like a big broom) and push the remaing water out the doors to insure it's dry by morning if it's done in the middle of the week. We do this usually once a week after closing, sometimes more depending on how dirty the cars were that day. There's been times we've done it every day for a week straight due to the weather and all.

  7. Tiger 05 is awesome. We go to this bar sometimes that has a big screen setup with an xbox and have huge tournaments on the weekends. You put your money in to play, and it was a winner take all. You didn't get the money, but was credited to the bar. I won the 2nd weekend and had a balance of over 300 bucks!!! Good fun. I think that was the 03 Tiger but I can't remember.

I made my own character and it was pretty close. But my friends character....that was freaking us out playing here at the house. It was so close it was almost like a real video of him playing!!
