I didnt have to worry about that . the area I was in there was noone near me who could even come close to my quality. hell most of them still did the 1980. style 4 strips on the back glass

I bet tts does or am I the only one. ive done it qiute a bit. when I had my own shop. and thats not the reason I say had. it was the woman from hell that ruined that. but if I have a cutomer who is realy just getting on my nerves . id throw him out of the shop. ive even ripped the tint of a few cars. and said ok beat it. cuz they where nit picking. over a few specks. and arguing with me. I just say to hell with you and your money. get the f out of my shop. any one else do this?

im only posting this here cuz tintboy has 911 as his post count. there was an accident outside of my shop today. so I called 911 to get a cop out there. well I work in jersey city 15 mins from manahattan. thank god I was not hurt or in danger. the god damn phone rang 15 times before they picked up. that is just ridiculous

I agree pro ill get a pic of the way I used to cut . and your idea gave me the idea of keeping the knife in place. when I show you . you will see
-
hey hey hey pro in my first post and in others I said I got the idea from here didnt I

I think I know what your talking abot bs . ive seen somthing like it before. but you dont need the teeth on this because what I did was melt it with the heat gun. and as it was still hot folded it over the box. very tightly. so as I pull it basicly slides the box back with it. well not slides but you know what I mean

actualy fast I got the idae from an earlier post . just decided to try to make it a lil better
-
 no ez it wraps over the box. I have more pics but my cam is junk . and that the only one that came out good. you stick the knife through the slit . and the plastic holds it tight. so you can get a factory edge . for auto it.s basicly useless but for comercial. it will work as good as a slitter . just a hell of alot less. just put it over the box. put your knife through it and the box. and pull

I got the idea from athread I read before. so the credit goes to them. remember the post about cutting out of the box. using a piece of cardboard to keep the knife straight.. well I combinded that with mdogs idea of using the cores. for other things and vaula. made a new tool works pretty good . I dont know how to put it up here so ill send it to td and ask him to put it up

you know those pain in the ass customers. that just satnd rigth next to you. askking a million questions. and watching every thing you do. they make me nervous when they are to close. the best way I found to get them away from me. I spray em with water. of course not directly at em. but ill spray through the glass or over the door. while im wetting the glass. they leave right away. allthough I did spray this one idiot right in his face. I was teasing him and he loved it. but he just talked to much . so I just sprayed him right in the face . and said dude shut up.the idiot thought it was funny. just laughed and wiped his face off. and said I know everyone tells me I talk to much. I asked him if everyone sprayed him in the face with water. he laughed and said no. I told him they should

to be honest with ya when I hear about em there allready gone. at least nine out of ten times. but occasionaly I hear the infamous. well I got a price from this guy. and if ive never heard of him then I know he is a new guy. so I just explain to the customers how it is and how he can be so cheap. then simply say you can save yourself a few bucks. or you can get it done right. as far as residential the customer can tell the difference when the see the truck pulling up. and the way the guy talks.a new guy has no professionalism
