I've never understood that. I know a few up here that say they don't shrink sides (not the Beetle) and do fine. For me it's just easier to shrink in the outside and not have to worry with it.
-
I think most even panels pullers still say they shrink those. If course now someone will chime in and say they never have to.

I've yet to do a hardtop. I'm about to just find one and do it for free. Nope I think I'll wait.

Seriously wanted to throw the towel in on this one. Did the whole van. Bank in qdp 5 and front in 40. Whatever you think you might charge go ahead and double it. Around the back dots didn't want to lay down. Then in front you might as well of been lined with shag carpet. Wound up pulling the panels.

Howard I believe you 100%. Speaking on my behalf if it were me and I were in your shoes, the gloves would be off!
-
Awesome thanks. Also I had the wrong email for some reason. That's all I was asking though.
-
When I order flat glass film can it be ordered liner out? Easier than email.
-
Howard did you get my email yesterday? I'm not sure if I have the right address. Or you could've possibly blocked me from all the questions I ask.

Ready to hear from Howard.

No problem Howard. If I have a manufacturer problem that's where I go to, not an open forum to run someone's name down.
-
-
I will send in a 5 inch by 5 inch Square and I can get all that. Nothing is wrong with it but the above would be nice.
-
it's not about the problems you have, it's about how you handle them.
-
Wow above and beyond!

Why don't you man up and return the phone calls! Obviously Howard is trying to find out what might have went wrong to better not only the product but also to better the window film industry. Every film on the market is going to have some sort of flaw at one point. When I have a problem with film, I contact my Rep first instead of trying to bad mouth it on a public forum.Glad you have great customer service Howard, I don't doubt that at all. I'm angry right now and done with this product so don't call me. I did save the film for show, right along side the 3M film gone bad. Not making false statements here, ocalastinter I'm not the thug your refering to I've been doing this sh** a long time and I work my a** off daily. I'm done here. 3 strikes, 3rd one this Monday coming up.
Exactly.

That's pretty unprofessional. Just like somebody bringing their car to you tint. Then they have a problem with it,but instead of bringing it back to you they just get someone else to retint. Then they go and run your name in the ground.

Hi FBO,
Sincere thanks for the kind words and the support.
I left 6 messages today for the fellow we believe posted that picture but I finally gave up, not wanting to make a pest of myself. As soon as we hear from him, we will send someone in there to pick up that film and we will have it flown in overnight to evaluate. I do not know what film that is in the picture, but it's not a color stable film.
Tomorrow is a travel day for me, so if I don't check in here - I am at 34,000FT on JetBlue. I will check in during the afternoon.
Wishing everyone a relaxing night.

With some peanuts and a shock top!

Looks like your calling him out with no answer! Great customer service Howard.

We have yet to process a single longevity related claim on this product - anywhere in the world.
-Howard
Never? Hard to believe thats true. I have 2 redo's and have another scheduled for Monday. Heres 2 pictures of back windows that I had to redo last week with CB gone bad. As far as wanting to making a claim on film, I know how the process goes and I don't want your film credit, rather not continue to use this film especially when it continues to fail. Thanks but no thanks.
Wow that's kinda harsh.

I think I'm just a baby shampoo kinda guy. I've tried it twice now with no luck. I will say however it worked fine on flat glass.
-
OK so I gave it another shot today. I thoroughly cleaned my corny changed the filter and cleaned the hose. I used 2.5 oz slime for a gallon of H2O. I normally use baby shampoo at 1.75 per gallon. I stuck the film on the glass and luckily it landed right because there was no movement in it. Using my blue Max I squeegee the top half and it looked fine. Squeegee the bottom it is OK. Once I roll the window up I like to go over the entire window once more. As I go to push the top out again I see that I have bubbles that appear to look like the film is curing. Are you guys experiencing this?
