I dont get too many no shows. Happened to have 2 on Thursday though. I send out a reminder text message the afternoon before the appointments and that seems to work good for me. I actually enjoy the no shows sometimes. It gives me a chance to catch up on things. I was able to get a much needed haircut and got my watch battery changed out Thursday. It worked out good. I am also pretty good at predicting no shows. Dont ask me how but i can pick them out by how they talk on the phone.

Stress??? What stresss??? Very rarely do i get stressed over tinting. I might get pissed off but not stressed.
My tip: use a good film. Dont buy crap from the auto parts store or some of the fly by night bs out there. In my experiance, there are less than 10 "Good" brands of film. Pick one that is proven.

Keystone Heights Fl. Im about 20 miles east of Gainesville.
I have 2 good sized Air conditioners and have 90% of the shop insulated. I normally only sweat when installing the rear glass.

Did one of these last week. It sucked. Glad i had a helper for the rear glass. Yes, the grease behind the seal was some nasty stuff. I dont normally pull panels but i will on my next one.

Take your olfa and trim about 1/8 of the inside rubber seal. It lets the film slide back to prevent light gaps.

Ive done a few of them for a car dealership. Not the funnest thing to tint but they get easier with practice.

I melted the outside rubber seal on one of these yesteday. I had a small finging and put the heat to the outside for about 5 seconds and that is all it took to distort that flimsy POS rubber seal.
That is the first time ive encountered this.
Lesson learned.

I am a fan of Johnsons Silhouette. I have used it for 12 years now and my mentor for around 20 years. I have seen several vehicles I have done over 10 years ago that look as good as they did the day they were tinted and that is in this tropical Florida climate. It is a little too reflective for some peoples taste. I also like Johnson's Marathon line. its not quite as reflective and matches up better with factory tinted glass. I have all the confidence in the world in Silhouette film after thousands of installs. I cannot comment on the other films listed because I have never used them. Good luck on your decision.

2 Honda Accords. An 05 and a new 2014. Easy day. The next 2 days are gonna be long though.

Not gonna post pics because its a PIA to resize them and all.
Yesterday I tinted a 2004 Silverado Ext. Cab and a local Lutheran Church.
Today I did a 2012 Ford, 15 passenger van for the GMC dealer. This guy wanted 5% all the way around because he was living in it. Theres a lot of damn windows in those things!!!!!

Try to tint as many trucks and suv's as you can. Stay away from any VW or German for that matter.
