Had one of the busiest Saturdays for me in a good while. 

2001 CLK 430 Mercedes full removal and replaced with CS 5% full tint.

2015 Honda Accord sedan CS 35% full tint.

2013 Lexus CT200 FXPM 15% full tint

2002 Toyota Avalon CR 70% front doors.

2013 Tesla P85 CS 35% full tint CR 90% windshield.

Now to go home for some whisky. 

This thread should be renamed to "What illegal installs did you do today"

M doing a 2013 altima and 2014 maxima any tips or anything coming at or are they esay

I've only done both of those cars twice within six months of each other but from what I remember it's easy. Any economic cars like Nissan to Hondas will be easy. IMO any time you remove the panel/gasket it makes the job that much easier and faster. No need to shrink the doors of you do and you can extend your bottom pattern to maximize coverage. And as always, check the trunk for any fuse panels and cover with rags.

I have not, but I'll never want to experience it. Most cars with fuse panels in the trunks are audis beamers and Mercedes. But no matter the car I will always check the luggage compartment for any fuse panel, takes no longer than 30 seconds to do and it could save you hundreds of dollars if not more.

You said it took you 2.5 hours well how fast do u do most cars

For most cars an hour and ten minutes. Some cars like a 7 series, e350 coupe with those roll down quarters and s63 amg I take 1.5 hours. And usually 2 hours on a SUV depending what's being done.

2014 Audi Q5. Took me 2.5 hours to do    Can't believe it took me that long. 

Color stable 20% on rear section + both sunroofs.

My parents are still waiting on me to go tint their house. 

I'm coming on 2 years in tinting, always hand cut and can average an hour and ten minutes on most cars like Honda, Toyota ect, BMW 3-5 series and Mercedes. As for 7 series beamers I take about 1.5 hours and certain Mercedes like E class coups with rear quarter roll downs and s class coupes as well as Audis  SUV's with a full tint Ido take 2 hours on though. I'm the only tinter at this location so I take a bit of pride in myself to be able to handle 3-4 cars in a day with speed and quality in mind as the customers here in LA/Hollywood are very picky. I'm in the stage of fine tuning my skill set in seeing how I can shave some minutes off per installation while keeping quality as a priority as well.

2015 Mercedes CLS400. FXPM 25% rear section FXPM 30% front doors

Just finished this 2015 7 series. FXPM 15% full tint.

2014 Tesla. Color stable 50% full tint.

2015 Porsche Panamera. Color stable 5% rear section and Color stable 35% front doors.

Now about to start on the Tesla

Thats the name of the company. "Window Tints" whatever location we are at its just known for Window Tints Hollywood / Window Tints Glendale. Since it first started 25 years ago it has a simple straight forward name. 

 

Pretty sure no offense is meant.  I made the same joke.

It's sort of a joke on here because of the horrible grammar and punctuation problems some people have while posting.
