Yes you need. If you don't want to purchase film you can buy pre cut files on some websites and cut it via Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator.
The advantage of the file is that you can change it however you want

Try to find the interior you want in Autopatterns. We've been buying patterns from them for over a year now. The only problem is they don't have their own software yet so we have to buy files.
We tried Xpel but sometimes it doesn't close the part all the way -
No problems with the film

I think I have found those who produce these patterns 🤔 autopatterns.com
In response to my request for the production of templates, they replied that they can do it on time. I received my order at the agreed time.
Like you they have an office in Russia that I spoke with but they already have a Manager in the US -
Electronic templates for the plotter are available on Autopatterns

Hello everyone!
I am from Russia and my company is creating digital PPF patterns for car interiors. By this moment, we have made PPF patterns for 120 cars and continue to create them. Unfortunately, in Russia this service is poorly developed, and I think, maybe there are specialists on this forum who are interested in our patterns? Please do not judge strictly, I do not know English well and could publish the topic in the wrong section.
But I will be happy to answer your questions!
This is very interesting!
Tell me, what car models do you have digital patterns for?

Very easy to work with Bodyfence X. I'm working with Stek, SunTek, 3M and Hexis is my favourite. Nice gloss, topcoat and good glue
