Personally, I think the "The Color Purple" should be changed to "Purple Rain"

:dunno ThanX! Really sounds better, I will change it.... I am changing film names everytime when new movie on. Problem is that movies here are named in Latvian or Russian, so I have to make special search... Sometimes I have no time :dunno

So let it be DARTZ.PURPLE.RAIN :bingo

Thanks alot. I do have the VKool hue now. The reason I ask about even the low shade tints is that even the light colored films may have some shine that shows up in certain light and weather condidtions and I wanted to get them with in the 90% of true look. I have access to alot of specs and some photos from brouchers so I have alot fo them done, but alot of films are not used and there are not many resources to find a completed tint job on a vehicle. I figured since I have looked for so longthis might be a good resource to see films like sungard and johnsons that are less popular than llumar solar gard etc. Thanks a ton for the shots and links. It has really helped. :bingo

      help arquitectural in Puerto Rico heat

      Hi, new to the forum but a previous lurker. Was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on tints for a business in Puerto Rico who's windows face north (humidity 80% temp 70-100). Main concern is heat reduction though i would like for it to not be super dark since it is a work area. Have not contacted installers yet since I wanted to have some knowledge about products and specs beforehand to make sure im getting what i need. Thank you! From what i've gathered i should look out for: dual reflective film and low absorptive/high solar reflection products used this topic among others for research: "should be a go-to such as: 3M's Night Vision15 or NV25, Vista Film's Dual Reflective18 or DR 28, LLumar's DR15 or DR25 (which closely matches 3M NV), or Madico's Optivision in and around the same number assignment. The numbers assigned to films represent the visible light transmission of the product." "The higher the reflectivity of a film product, the better when dealing with desert heat."

      It looks like the end of the roll was used which has adhesive marks from being attached to the plastic core. You can't use the very end of the film roll.

      South facing windows DR film

      Install went great. I went with NV-25, I am very happy. The room has been darkened significantly, from bright and hot to much more pleasant and enjoyable. Watching TV during the day is no longer blinding, when it is cloudy it is definitely a bit gloomy, I am glad I did not go with NV-15. I plan on getting more windows done in the future to help cut down on heat energy. Thanks for everyone's input!
