Vista film install... edges peeling up :(

whats this mean?  Am I missing something here? :lol6

It states at the top 'formulated for CDF adhesive systems...."

And under precautions it says 'not to use it on sputtered bronze or silver-based films...'

Silver and Bronze (copper) based films in Vista; VS60, VS70, VE35, VE50 & v33 Bronze. VS60 & VS70 should also be sealed and if I were installing any VE's, I would seal them, too, especially near coastal regions.

Dual reflectives do not possess any silver or copper in their make up...

I'm sorry we should call Dave Loffenberg or however his name is spelled

Given the opportunity, why not... he might clear it all up since he is the install guy there at CPF.

Man oh man in all these years they been telling me lies...its funny though how most of all v-38 and v-28 have a dull silver look and when it's removed it comes off just like r35 or r20 ..so just where does that silver dye come come from in the 14-28-38-58 ...and you are right about the edges and the seal but application solutions I would like for you to have whoever you talk to at CP to post on here what we should be useing since they mis-informed us on the gallon bottles of x-100

'Laufenberg', but with a name like that it probably matters more if it gets said the correct way. :DD No one's ever gonna spell it right, 'cept family members... :thumb

I would question silver not being in the darker ones. Being that dark, I would assume if it was not silver, it would not be thermo safe.

Vista has had that problem of peeling up on hot glass. It doesn't allow enough time for the adhesive to activate.
