Do most shops take off the door panels to tint? I want to replace my driver's side panel and wondering if I can just give the shop a new one for them to put on... Also, is 3M the best film? If not, what's the best?

Thanks

No need to take off the panel on that car, but it is very easy to remove. There are usually like two screws and you just lift up on the panel to remove :dunno

As far as mmm, its up to what you or the installer thinks, you will get all sorts of opinions here, since we all use different films :hmmm

94-98 mustangs just remember when your cutting your film to fit, cut the side of the glass first then move the tint towards the mirror a little so you wont get overhang, then proceed to cut your top edge. Usually I just use my popsicle stick to push the window seal down on these and they are just fine, or you can use your bondo card to pry the seal back and tuck the film behind it. either way, easy window to do, very light heat shrinking
