I think it has to do with people rolling the windows down to early, or, poor workmanship. I have to agree with you, I have tinted 1000s of cars with it and have only had a few comebacks for peeling, and they are always clapped out civics with 250000 miles on them and windows that wont stay in their tracks. Even then I fix it and add extra heat and never see that car again. I do use those green "Do not roll down windows" stickers faithfully, and ever since then the peeling issues and mystery bubbles 2 inches from the bottom of the window stopped cold.
