Rear defrosters lifting

Recommended Posts

Guys,

Having a few issues at the moment with llumar atc film

Seems to be the 15%

If I do a rear bg and get some contaminants and decide to rip it off, it seems to pull the lines!!

Not changed anything recently

This is happening literally 5 mins after install, no heat applied after install, the film is still damp,

Any ideas? Usual cleaning method of scrubby pad only,

Sometimes wire wool to avoid peanuts,

Reverse roll tequnique

Can anyone shed light? Seems to have happened on two BMW and a Mercedes over the last month.

Thanks

Means the adhesive is more aggressive than the baked coating. Has nothing to do with the film, it's the vehicle. I have had the coating on the lines come right off while trying to position the film before even locking it down.

Ive noticed this.

It may just be a coincidence BUT every time its happened (around 7 times) ive asked the customer where they have had the car washed as I had a feeling it may be to do with a chemical being used to clean the inside of the window.

turns out every single one have been using the same £5 immigrant car wash.

even better I found out they were using TFR in a spray bottle to clean the inside of the back window.

may just be a coincidence but hey ill leave it for you guys to decide.
