Windshield graphics - curvature

I have a client that wants to put a vinyl banner across the top of the windshield on his Ford Explorer Sport Trac.

I've tried doing this before with a Subaru windshield and wasn't able to match the curvature of the glass closely enough.

Does anyone know the trick to doing this? Are there templates out there that are car specific?

Lost!

Thanks for your help,

G

yes, take a straight line across the roof from top corners of windshield. Measure the distance in inches from the center of the straight line to the top center of the windshield. this is the amount of curve to put in your graphic.
