Transit Connect Body Indentions

Recommended Posts

Any suggestions on keeping vinyl long term in the Body Indention at rear sides and rear with no glass on the Transits?

I've wrapped quite of few now and I always use the same process. I have a few come back after a month or so with lifting.  I always use 3M 94 primer and post heat. Any other installers struggling with this?

Forgot to mention...I'm using 3M 1080CV3 with 8518 Lam.

Make sure you are leaving enough material floating to stretch into recess. The more material available the less % stretch. I prefer a heat gun and roller L for those. Heat the channel as well as hitting the vinyl off the channel. I always relief cut those channels. Post heat with ir gauge.
