I’d lean towards a Dual Reflective 35 or 25. Could go with a Silver 20 to squeeze out a little more heat rejection. I prefer the look of the DRs though.
When you say Dual Reflective, is that reflective looking out as well? or does the reference of Dual Reflective pertain to the Heat/Sun from just the outside?

Single pane glass
Natural light is always nice to have for the techs to work in and not just having to rely on the ceiling lights, so I was leaning more towards a 40-50%. Visibility is not a big concern at night as our fab team only operates 1 shift and they leave at 2:30p.
More importantly is the fact that during the day here in Colorado, the sun really heats up the garage and were banking on the tint on the windows to help reduce the heat and at times of the day, the blinding reflections from the sun coming in and hitting a piece of metal/tool box. It's a giant building that with garage bays on both the East and West side of the building. Approximately 10 bays that we pull semi's in one side and can drive them all the way through the other side.

Hello old TD fam,
It's been many years since I 've done anything window tint related and I just started a new job as a department manager of a graphics/wrap shop. Day 3 I've been asked by the CEO to have our East & West facing garage bay windows tinted with a mirror tint to keep prying eyes out, and more importantly, to keep the heat out from the Colorado sun. There are 12 windows on each garage bay door; 3 rows & 4 columns, each window measuring approximately 36" wide x 21" tall. We have 20+ garage doors. My question to you is, what window film would be recommended for my type of situation?

So I got out of the window tinting/paint protection business about 10 years back when I purchased a wide format printer and decided to go the digital printing route. I stumbled across a purple USB Dongle that says Invisible Patterns with a serial key on it. I was wondering if anyone here knew if it was worth anything and if you thought I might be able to sell it here on the forums ?

works for me, sucks for Mississippi

I searched all 5 pages of Graphics and vinyl and browsed all the threads. I still wasn't able to decide on which vinyl I should get.
I was looking at this Pakage deal to start out with. Only thing I didn't understand was the fact that they opffer 5 rolls of 24" yet only give you 10" transfer tape. Am I missing something here?
I'm not sure if I'm going to get the package deal though, I think I'm just going to get 1 roll of Black vinyl for those that want vinyl over the matrix (that is if I do a crappy job on glueing the dots).
the question is, what vinyl should I get? Glosstech, Oracal 651, Oracal 541, or the Oracal 851 ?

I know these graphics that are multi colored etc are too compicated on a standard plotter. How are these made? is it printed vinyl? What type of plotter makes these? How much do these plotters run?

Not a bad compliment to windows though.
I can see it now, A trip back to the 60's... instead of curtans & beads on the van windows, Wall Paper for the windows !!!!

I used 1/2" styro with a foil back on my garage (now back to being a garage)
made it bright in there, and looked cool, and waterproof, and 5$ a sheet or less

Garage future plans:
Working out of my garage with out any walls atm. All you can see is studs. I figure I'll ask this question now so I know how much to save up for materials. When I go to insulate and wall up the garage what should I use for the walls? I seen this type of board that was like the traditional cork board but with no holes and was a shiny bright white. I was thinking of going that route because the bright white pannel would brighten up the garage but I'm not sure how strong it is to water. I looks waterproof but you'll never know until its put to the test. I'm not favoring the drywall route cause I spray down the floor of my garage before I bring any car inside. I had a piece of drywall in the corner of the garage and it's so far rotted on the bottom.
What do you think is the best to wall up my garage?

I was wondering how many cars I should be able to tint/roll of film...
I wasn't too concerned before since I was wasting and redoing so many windows.
But now I am pretty competent and am starting to look more closely at my profit...
So how many cars/roll do you guys think???
Thanks

If you tint like me then you'll get 2-3 cars/roll

I think we're going to go with Avery DR Optitune 15i. Interior and Exterior options just applies to which side of the window it's installed on? Or is there a different difference?
