Just keep in mind the SolarGard Ultra Performance is not a Ceramic, it is a nanotechnology film.  Ultra Performance Plus is a Nano-Ceramic film, but only comes in 80%.  Based on the specs, I do question if that is Llumar AIR 80 reboxed.

No sir, the same chemical is supplied to various factories.

  3. A few years back I was privy to helping with a look into the complaints of film interference. The testing was performed on three different vehicles however, all three did not experience all interference listed below.

    These were observed:

AM reception reduced to static with application of a dye-metal hybrid 35 or a Ceramic 30 when antenna was located on BG. This was a video feed at SEMA one year.

FM with dual antenna system designed to maintain reception even if a 18-wheeler pulled up next to you was reduced to single antenna capability with windows done in dye-metal hybrid.

Remote start was reduced to half its operational distance with an dye-metal hybrid 35.

GPS disrupted with dye-metal hybrid 35 when antenna is located beneath the rear deck.

Tire pressure sensor light lit up with dye-metal hybrid 35 installed to all windows.

Cell phone was not affected and Wi-Fi not tested.

WIFI is fine sir, except Apple's Hotspot

  4.

    No contact information too

    - It claims to be from Japan

    http://nanotechfilms.com/about-us

    - However, that introduction is similar as ASWF

    http://www.aswf.com/html/about/about.html

    - The product description http://nanotechfilms.com/automotive-films/clearsky

is adapted from Johnson InsulatIR http://eclipsetintnm.com/auto-window-tinting/3189638

    fat is sufficiently confused :blink

    who is selling to who?

  5.

The formula doesn't account for how a film's color (spectrum) impacts results.

Back when NC passed their net 35 law I was a film sales rep for the state and it was noted how Centaur (PT) auto film would squeak by light meter devices while ATR failed even if they both had the same VLT going on the same VLT glass. Centaur was a more bluish looking smoked film.

    Important Point from Smartie. :yeah

In my earlier years, fat was sufficiently-confused because color has a part to play on the VLT reading on different test meters.

  6. Reboxers = a tinter who buys cheap film and puts it in a more expensive film name box.

Coaters & Laminators (like Johnson, ASWF, XMC films) = converters

Scorpion, Aegis, Advantage, Maxpro, Geoshield, Protectgard, Unikorn, etc. = private label film supplied by major mfg'ers or converters to anyone who can afford to buy their own production run(s).

Toray = major polyester supplier to the window film industry

Don't aegis have their own laminator? Excuse me if I am mistaken.
