  1. We need a full or part time tinter/ installer.

Our company does auto, flat glass, ppf, vinyl and window graphics. Give us a call if you're experienced in any these.

You need to be really good. You need to have a car, and be without personal hang ups. We're a successful, ambitious company that relies on our reputation for quality and consistency. Base+ commission. Call or text 512.905.4026

  2. Alright guys. We now have enough plotter work to justify buying one. Mostly larger custom frost jobs, ppf, maybe tint work. I also want to take the company in a more artistic/deco direction; printed vinyl, printed clear film. We need the plotter now, and the printer later. Should we consider a combo? Or plotter now, and printer when we need it. Brands? We're leaning towards Graphtec. Thanks in advance!

  3.  Carbon fx and Solar fx Ceramic have been our main films for two years or so now. Both are great, especially the ceramic. Very hard to beat the  heat performance, and clarity. We beat out 3m and F1/llumar shops all the time, so much so that we've raised our prices. The carbon has a great true black color and is everything you would want in a dyed film, EXCEPT. They also have their Vintage line. Which is exactly the same as carbon, but cheaper and with a higher tser than carbon. Both lifetime warranties. They also have an awesome dual reflective flat glass line that's sure to catch on soon. I'm talkin bad..ass. Clarity, tone, tser better than llumar and 3ms 35%vlt, and neutral. Not slightly bronze like the other two. Only beef I've got is no partial roll sizes but 60" and 72". This one's for you Chris. Solar fx pretty much made our shop what it is. If they had all roll sizes in partials, we would get just about all of our film from them. Kudos guys!

  4. The only issue I had was many years ago in a Lexus that the GPS "antenna" was in under the rear deck. Switched from the HP to a NR film and problem solved. I think the whole signal interference thing is and was blown way out of proportion.Only issue I can see is if the it has antennas in the glass, then only am reception suffers. The whole phone signal thing is a non issue IMHO. I use HP on 80% of my installs with no issue. My up-sell goes,

NR film, up to HP, then up to ceramic.

  5. Do you guys still find that hp films will interfere with anything? The last problem I had with this personally, were in Hondas in 2004. Over the last two years I've put Suntek hp and Johnsons marathon (also hp) on just about everything. Some through my own shop and some through sub contract work in other very reputable shops. I've checked gps,Bluetooth, satellite radio, my own phones reception and everything is fine. These are all makes and models. Lots of Infiniti, bmw, mercedes,Porsche,Honda, jeep, I mean everything, new and not so new. No interference. Are we still just pushing lower performing dyed films, calling them things like "color stable" and "carbon". Just so we can up sale to ceramic? I'm really curious? When was the last time you experienced any interference?
