  1. So we tinted this Jeep Grand Cherokee. 2015, 14, or 16 cant remember. so we have had to re do this windshield, this was our second attemp because for some reason we just cant please this customer. So here are the picture that say we suposedly burned his dash.... we have never used a heat gun on the inside of  the vehicle. could this have been an imperfection already done to the vehicle and theyre just now noticing it because of the windshield tint? we need help asap haha

How would we have layed the tint if the dash was up onto the window? and before they came and picked the vehicle up, I went out there and looked at the bottom of the glass to make sure everything was layed down near the dot matrix at the bottom...... Im in aww

  2. Following up on the Ultra Tint Slime. We used to the first time last week. We mixed 5.25oz or so in a 5gal jug. After using it Friday and Saturday I have to say this stuff is GREAT! Very slick, but once you make your first pass where you want to lay the film its not going anywhere. Its very consistant with the way we mixed it. It will probably differ from climate to climate. our shop stays at about 75 degrees. We are also using very aggressive adhesive film. the smell of the Slime is pleasant too.

So now its monday and we made our last mix Saturday morning, shook the jug, filled our sprayers up, did a few cars this morning and no trouble at all with the consistency of the slip. Didnt lose its slip at all. We will probably be doing a video review of the product as well. when we do so ill be sure to leave a link. If anyone has anymore questions about the Slime please feel free to ask!

    Good Luck Tint Friends!

  3. Awesome Bham! we will certainly do so! We are currently mixing 5oz of slime to about 5.5 Gallons of water. Im sure mixtures differ from climate to climate, state to state... We will see how the installs go after a full ceramic job including windshield in a couple hours so this will be a great test!

  4. My best friend and I (now my business partner) tinted our personal vehicles in Highschool around the age of 16. All of our friends wanted us to tint their vehicles so we got the hang of things.. Posted ads online (Craig's list) haha, started getting customers and staying pretty busy. Note we were 16 when we began and 22 now, and thought why not take it to the next level. During those times we were mobile.   In 2014 we flew to Cali and got further training at RightLook. Today we are still business partners and have a big shop that opened about 9 months ago and doing great!

Looking forward to hearing everyone else's journey!!
