I did not. I talked to a couple of software companies and all of them agreed that it would be a good idea, but none of them wanted to help me out at all. My area manager for SunTek thought it would be brilliant. I ended up cutting out poster board templates just so I could pre-cut film before going out to the yard. 

Hey guys.. Currently I use Tru-Cut software with a Graphtec plotter and it works great, but doesn't have templates I need for a job I have. I got contracted to tint a bunch of heavy equipment by this company and it would be nice to create my own templates, or have access to software that has templates for bulldozers, excavators and front loaders because I know I'm going to be doing a lot of work for these guys. Thanks in advance.

Tried one of these for the first time yesterday... I should have come here first and did some reading. I ended up throwing in the towel because I didn't want a job leaving me that looked like garbage. Live and learn I suppose. The guy valued my honesty at least.
