What software are good
8 hours ago, Sunbreakers said:Yep, software will run you $120-$150 a month. Any of those I listed will be efficient..I use vinyl express q series which is a plain label graphtec FC 8600. Rolands and Jaguars are good. Those three brands are like Chevy, Ford, Dodge...all of them have their fan base. Llumar encourages graphtec and carries parts for them so it works out well for me to have one. Your situation may vary.

out there? I only now about Tint tek!?

2017 40” GCC Jaguar VLX Plotter for sale..this Plotter is in great condition, nothing is wrong with it. I used it for cutting Window Tint patterns and vinyl designs for about 3 months. It will come with both vinyl and tint blades. Original price is $4000.00 I’m asking $2500.00. If interested I can also throw in 3 new 100’ rolls of High Performance Global film and some scrap/partial rolls for an extra $500.00, valued at $800.00. Located in Tyler, TX. Please text me instead of calling, it’s easier for me to communicate with you at (936)465-0456
Is still available.?

Plotters are sort of like having a child...you either have one and all the costs associated with it or you don't. If you could get one cheaper, then everybody would do it. If you try to find the cheapest just to get by then you will only turn around and have to buy an expensive mainstream one later when the cheap one doesn't work...in other words wait till you can afford to break the bank. Pay the price and get a graphtec, roland, vinyl express, or jaguar and you will never regret it. Check Craigslist and places like that.
Maybe the real question is. Out of those which is the most cost efficient?

Yes, water bubbles will go away...if cold weather could take up to a month. The rest have dirt or debris in them which is pushing the film away from the glass creating the bubble.
Thank you very much.

The real faint ones in photos 3/4 look like water bubbles...the darker grayer colored ones. The brighter silver looking ones in all the photos are dirt/hair that will not come out.
So the water bubbles will just dry with time? but the other ones will not?

Hey Guys,
I am looking to get a film Cutter, but I am starting and don't want o break back. What is a good entry level plotter?

Personally never seen just a air bubble in window tint besides a finger at the edge of the film or adhesive failure on old tint. Generally it is either a water bubble at the beginning or has a piece of dirt/debris that is pushing the film up. You should be able to push on it lightly and see if there is liquid in it.
That is what it looks to me es like water pockets but their like ghost looking. you can only see them when direct outside light hits it. but I can't push them out with my squeegee.

Hey Guys I am going to be using the ATR glue remover for the first time. and kinda want to know what dissolved ratio you guys use for rear windshield film glue removal.

Has anyone had any experience with XPEL EZ-Tint? is it worth the money? does it really helps increase speed of the tinting process? Right now I am starting out. To do a 4 door 2 quarter glass and rear windshield it takes me about 5 hours.

Post a mobile install video, i never get to see many people who do the outside installs. I'd like to see the secrets to keeping the work clean outside
I have a couple appointments tomorrow. I will try to get one done.
the main secret is clean the window after every step thing you do, and schedule appointments when weather is good. Ask the customer for a covered place to work 9 times out 10 if the customer has a garage they don't mind letting me use it.

Hello, We are in Bloomington and have used Scorpion for 7-8 years now and love it. By far the best customer service I have ever experienced in the 35+ years I have been in the business. Plus Marcus And Billy at UCA Distributing are great as well.
Hi Vanhorn, Awesome. So far they have been great and been very helpful specially since I am just starting out. I am from the north part of Indianapolis. How would you say business is around in Indiana? seasonal or steady? Great to find tinters close by.
any advice you can give me? I am not a shop but I do mobile installs straight to peoples houses
