So in the end couldn't get the arm off or the spoiler wound up going cowboy and put the film in super wet (after we covered all the electronics) and shrunk it without the backing on. Fortunately it only had 3 or 4 small fingers and it sat down nicely.

The arm is definitely in the way but it also has a wicked long spoiler that we can't get off too. The motor itself isn't in the way while tinting but we can't shrink the glass.

No there is a little bit of a gap and it has some wiggle which makes me nervous. And I tried putting tension on the arm and that didn't work either.

tried tapping gently on the end with the nut on but it won't come loose.

Oh I wish it was that easy. One sec and I will add a photo.

Trying to remove the rear wiper arm so I can shrink the back glass and can't figure out how to get the arm off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
