Dust or specs

I was reading an article here on TD about reducing dust or specs and it came to my attention that its mentioned " not to wet the window, only the film"

but if I do that I have trouble placing the film correctly on the window due to the lack of what should I call it slipperiness.

so my question what do you guys suggest?

u can spray a lil bit on the window, just stay a few inches away from the top egde, thats where alot of the dirt falls down when it gets wet.

Just mist the window with your water solution no need to hose it down. Or have a separate spray bottle with a little more slip solution to mist the window before you apply as that may help also. Or just use more soap

2 light mists on the in side stay away from the top and sides

how are you avoiding spraying too much solution on the back glass when doing a reverse roll???

I just 2 bottles one in each hand. I use allot of water , I soak top to bottom. always comes out clean
