Hard water spots on glass

I tried out a chemical today on my cars. It is orange and was told to try not to get it on my paint. My parents own a company that supplies detail and body shops and gave me a sample. Said it sells for $12 a gallon I used about an ounce on Ex. cab truck and a car. It worked great. Little scrubbing and about 3 minutes for my truck and they were gone. I will get the name tomm.

Anyone using anything else for this?

000 steel wool with some polish on it (for lubrication)works magic

To be honest...with all the high dollar things out there...just taking a mild compound that you buff with and a whete wool pad and buff just like you would a car I have some stuff that you must wear a mask so it dosnt get in your lungs but I havnt seen that much differant than useing some micro compound and a buffer

I get a lot of People asking about getting them out!! Plus a lot of them are on Well Water

I used a waterspot remover just added it to the wash bucket or srayed it on with a sprayer and then washed it in and then off. it was acidic and did the trick fast!!

Remember when useing an acid based product you must go back with a neutralizer if not the product will keep etching until damage may appear..a mild ph general degreaser will be sufficent

Gliptone makes an acid rain spot remover @$15/ gallon it works great no rubbing no bluffing wipe on wipe off

believe it or not 000 steel wool and gritty toothpaste like the stuff they sell for smokers yellow teeth works good geting the spots off glass
