I have come here to say Thank you, to all of you.

I have a 95 Eclipse and the rear window was a mess.

I bought it used and the tint had blured.

Yes sir I washed the heck out of it, but no luck.

I then came accross this site and found a topic "how to remove tint".

Hey, that's for me, I'm good with my hands.

I read it and said I can do this.

I took the 409 advise and let it soak over night. I'm patient.

In the morning I didn't use a razor, just my finger nail to get it started.

What happened? Did the rookie blow it? Did he make a mess?

NO! The whole back window tint came off in one piece!

Well at least 99.9%.

I couldn't have done it without you guys, Thanks.

Sure, maybe beginers luck.

What's next? Well, I'm looking at either buying or renting a hot air blower.

You guessed it, I'm going to give a shot at doing a one piece tint job of my own on the rear window of my eclipse and with the advise I have found he I think I can do that too.

Question?

I've read about tint that is made for shrinking. Is that something that I really need or will just off the shelf work for me just as well?

I'm looking at using black limo tint and here in Arizona it is legal, yes I checked.

I just have to have mirrors on both sides of my car.

I'm also wondering if I any of you are willing to sell the tint to me for the job?

I can go out and just buy off the shelf but if I want a good job then I'm thinking you guys have a line on something better than off the shelf, maybe not.

You tell me.

:lol I would say that you are bitting off quite abit when you say that you want to do your first tint job (an Eclipse) in one piece, I would say that for a first timer even doing it in 2 pieces would be quit an acomplishment. A well desirved pat on the back type. :thumb
