Had some random state police check points{insurance, inspection stickers, tint etc.} this week around here this week before a holiday weekend and low and behold this morning I stripped and retinted D/P {legally} a 02 :shock Tahoe and a 00 Civic with 20% on the front sides. Neither got ticketed but read about the random check points in the local newspaper and were scared of getting ticketed! Both were done by a local stereo shop in town, known for doing illegal work!

I hope the police around here that are doing those stops nab some of the little sh$theads that are running around w/ full windsheilds tinted. my compettitor is doing the whole windsheild of almost every vehicle he tints. dumbass. the stat patrol knows hes doin it too

      Depending on where this window is and how quickly it dries after rain, no you might not have noticed it. The amount of water and the pressure that it is sprayed at is how and why moisture has gotten thru.

      I see, I didn’t think double glazed windows had gas between the panes? I thought that was a thermally broken window.

      100% ⬆️ I'm shocked they retinted it since all they had to do was look at the window at an angle from the outside to easily notice the issue was outside of the window film.

      This is not the fault of the window tinter. As you stated, all the rest of the windows are fine. This is failure in the window itself, due to a leak between the panes of glass. You have lost the gas in between the panes and moisture has gotten in.

      Hello i have just had my house windows tinted but im left with these hideous streaks. I made the supplier retint the window and same thing happened. They tinted the rest of the windows without an issue. they’re saying it’s a fault with the glass, which I find hard to believe. It’s just a double glazed window. I tried scrubbing it from the outside but that did nothing any ideas what this could be? I’ve attached a photo
