tinting a sunroof ?

I have put 05% film on loads of sunroofs. I believe toughened glass will take the heat build up no problem. Same when tinting flat glass.

Besides it aint like zolar......

that jiggra spray painted

some wndows with black krylon

cause 5 just wasn't dark enough

and people put blackout film on flat galss all the time

so what if the window breaks

just because thats what tempered glass

usually does above 200 degrees

it doesent mean they will suspect the tint for glass breakage

or that I will toss out the industry's credibility

for 1 little sunroof, or loads of 'em

anyone can gamble with skylights or sunroofs

when the lab guys say: film on a horizontal plane needs to be all-metal

and greater than 20% VLT, why test fate

sooner or later the shizz will break

I have seen with my own eyes sunroofs, I.G. units, tempered and plate glass,

shattered or having seals ruptured, just from the wrong film choice
