A blue 3000 GT with Krylon Fusion white interior panels and ext accents that idled at 2800 rpms that also had behind the driver's door smashed in about 2' exposing the rear wheel like an open wheel racer.

He paid close to $300.....

Dude! Spend it on some body work!

I've tinted my truck's stereo screen because it was too bright when parked at night without the lights on. I've also tried to tint the third brake light but the tint wouldnt stick to the plastic. I've also tinted cell phone screens and glasses before.

Today. It was not the vehicle... it was the customer. He called last week and asked if I could pick it up and tint his 92 Probe...because he's blind he says. :lol6 Sure ya are, I think to myself. Well sure enough he showed up this morning for his appointment with his ride. He had a driver. He just picked it up and had his seeing eye dog with him. A $30,000 golden retriever. I felt terrible about not picking up the car after him really being blind and all. :bingo

He asked his friend who was looking it over if he could see in thru the driver and passengers window, which naturally you could. I told him that it was as dark there as legally possible. I'm thinking to myself... :lol6 Why does it matter... unless ...you are thinking about driving it yourself :wall

Said he lost one eye to a rock thrown from a weedeater and nine months later was shot in the face and lost the other. :sign

frosted a glass cabinet for hiding crap behind (for my mother in law)..got paid in those peanutbutter cookies withthe hersheys kiss in the middle...mmmmmmmmmmm

mirrored some glass for a table top

fish tankback to stop alge growth

couple motorcycle wind screens

gotta be some other weird crap?

      Automotive Tint Comparison

      Steer clear of Black Armour, Suntek, ASWF. The others are good choices if you are in Australia. Check out the reviews of the installer too. It’s not just the materials that have to be proper. Never go for the cheapest!!!

      Residential Film without blue hue?

      Hey guys I am in the process of having window film installed in my home but have a question about which brand I should go with. Hoping yall can help me out. I have a room that faces a busy street and as a result my blinds pretty much always stay closed. I love having natural daylight but not so much people being able to see what i'm doing in my room/all my expensive equipment. I used to work in the window film industry as a helper/installer/salesman when I was in highschool and we did a lot residential/commercial work. The specific brand of film we used always left a certain blue and cool appearance. Is there any brand of residential film that does not have this effect? I mainly just cannot stand having blue light amplified and am looking for a film that has a neutral shade to it or even a warm/yellow hue. I have single pane windows and I do not necessarily care about heat rejection but if I have to pay more for a ceramic film rather than a dual reflective or a standard film I am willing to if that helps solve the issue. Again, any help is really appreciated with this there are so many new window film brands out there and it really is cool to see how far the industry has come.

      Automotive Tint Comparison

      LLumar, 3M and Solargard have in the industry as far back as the genesis of window film mid-1960's). Solargard is the younger of the three and all others came to play in the last 20 or so years. I've had all three on my vehicles over the years and my current is 3M Crystalline on my Jeep since 2015. It still has stable color, scratch coat is holding strong and impeccable adhesive clarity. Never been garaged. My choice toady would be 3M or LLumar.

      Hook up with Glassy Business and get all the ins and outs of pro vs DIY with window film. That company goes back way before my retirement in 2015. I want to believe they are/were a Vista Film dealer and I cannot remember the owner's name. Peace out.

      Once more thank you, you are the best I been looking at the specs for the products you mention and info into tinting a window. I recently did wrap my wife's car and it turn out really nice, for what I have been seeing tinting a window is similar and I am tempted to do it myself. With that said I can't find any place to buy the products you mention, I found quite a few films in Amazon but they seem sketchy. There is other web sites selling films but the ones you mention I can’t locate, anyhow is there any place where I can buy this products?

      South facing window tint

      Forgot to mention; if your house is under HOA, you may have to check in with them. Some, eh hem, many seemingly shy away from having a reflective look to the glass. A dual reflective with a visible light transmission of 35% (ex: NV35) would likely be more palatable to HOA, but not so happy for the owner. Your position to take with them is: The higher the reflectivity of a film product, the better when dealing with desert heat. There exists a necessary (physics) compromise in every window film transaction. Can't please all parties. Glad I could help educate.
