What is everyones technique for preping the glass

From the top where is the window do you first off roll it down a little or do I bit on the bottam first. How do you flush the window down do you flush the top edge and sides etc.

Scrape or Scrub. How many passes to make the glass clean. Do you wipe the eges the A, b, C with lint free towl then flush or just use the conquerer or some thing like to clean the channels etc

Just interested into different ways of getting the glass cleanest

This is what I do.

Spay

Scrap

Squeegee

Spay both sides of the glass to get dirt out

Spay

Scrub with a not scratch spunge

Squeegee

Repeat till window looks clean.

I start with the top first then the bottom. After I apply the film and rolled up I squeege the bottom again to get out any durt that might of got on it when I rolled it down. :thumb

today I did a 05 impala and I pulled the gaskets, taped the felt, blew compressed air in the window channels to clean out xtra felt, razored windows clean and installed. It was some of the cleanest work I have done.

Blow out channels, (outside shop) then the 3 S's

Scrape, Scrub, Squeegee.

roll down, spray, scrub, squeegy across, then sides, wipe sides with cloth, roll up, scrub bottom part, repeat process, slip it up!

Roll down an inch or so, spray, scrape with blade, Conqueror the sides, roll up, scrape the bottom, spray, roll back down, squeegee the whole window, spray again, apply film.
