Inline Filters

Guys and gals been along time since Ive seen this question answered.

What is everybody using or reccomending now for there inline filter on there spray hose?

I use wix or fram filters. like $4 each. can't look up the part numbers right now though.

I change mine every month. they rust up after that for me. I never use 'em backwards. there's an IN side and an OUT side to 'em.

Wix part # 33023 made for a 1985 Nissan 720 pickup.

I use a fram G2-it looks like the one Blade uses only see thru-so you can see the slimers!

ive got an inline vw (oldschool bug style filter) on my cornelius.

milled alluminum. wont rust.

for media in the filter. I use cut your own fine filter media for aquarium canister filters.

similar product for media..... can be bought in bulk 12X12 sheets @ pet supply stores

I have gone away with the "normal" inline filter AS THEY RUST AND THE PAPER BREAKS DOWN and have had success with these. $11.00.

I use the cornelius tank for cleaning, ans squeege slip.

I use one of these to install the film

Also I use filtered water, so no need for any filter

I just use a run-of-the-mill standard inline fuel filter, costs about a?1 and change it every month

Water can be harmful to cellulose media.

Oil actually strengthens it.

I'm sure if you spent more time you could find something better.

25 microns is pretty decent and then 2 microns after that. Not sure if that will have an effect on our slip solution though. No clue if carbon removes soap.

But keep looking.

FYI, the smallest particle the nek!d eye can see is about 40 microns.
