Rear window rubber molding

on the rear quarters of those cars I'm willing to bet that the majority of tinters out there leave the window in. but again...best thing to do is talk to the tinter who did the work.

wait a minute.....didn't you say you had a brand new 911. 05 or 06????? dont those have a black border on the quarters? :eyebrows

If I remember correctly :beer

they have a border, but a tight seal like the bug

That being the case, some installers would pull the gasket

usually not the entire glass :beer

I would ask the installer, and the dealership

I know the did not remove the window but there is a littlle rubber seal the surrounds the inside of the window.It seems that if you removed that rubber seal you could reach farther on the glass.That does not mean that tinters do that .this is why I am asking the question.There is no way this guy removed the glass from the car.

Do you guys tint for a living or just rag on people when you can't answer questions.I asked a pretty basic question.Have you guys ever done a porsche or do you live in the middle of the earth?
