Scratches On Tempered Glass

Recommended Posts

Anyone else finding the new interior tempered glass that glass companies are installing to be so soft that they can scratch when scraped?

It's not a problem if the entire glass is going to be covered with film - the film covers the appearance of the scratches. But if we install a decorative film to only part of the glass and we scrape the glass a little beyond where the film will go then we often find scratches are visible.

yea tempered glass can scratch sometimes. I will check a bottom corner of it to see if it is going to scratch and if it does then I will use a scrub pad instead of a scraper.
