I have tinted over tint many times with no problems that I am aware of. It will only look as good as the first layer tho. And if the first layer gives out.......... :lol

Done it quite a few times, mainly 20% on 20% because it wasn't dark enough. Don't have to worry about contamination 'cause it don't show :ninja:trustme

To enhance a "one way mirror" effect that we all know is close to impossible and you need to do via lighting....we install one layer of Silver Grey with a Grey five on top. That way the inside has the dye & the outside has the silver mirror effect.

Have not had any problems so far.

I won't warranty any job tho that isn't my film. But if I did it originally then I'll still warranty it

I guarantee that my film will stick to the first layer, if the first layer fails.....Sorry! Even if I installed the first layer, it voids the warranty. Most folks don't mind given the choice of paying to strip & tint compared to just "laying over" the first. I will only go over film that is in pristine condition.
