do you guys use some of the same tools for tinting as you do with ppf? What about slip solution ratio for both

Same tools really.

But I tint with a yellow turbo, I do PPF with a black turbo and clear max.

Same hard card, same towels, same knife.

For slip you want less soap! For tack I use either rubbing alcohol or dirt-off.

Recently I've been using dirt-off for both slip and tack.
