Safety Film

4 mil isn't that hard. It's almost like regular film.

Pull the gaskets/panels and go deep below them.

If you get a chance, go buy some super strong earth magnets. You can use them to hold the film in place while you roll down the window. Just don't let them slam together.

It can be.

On the sides you won't have a problem. The stuff "compresses" so tiny fingers disappear with a hard carding. The adhesive is aggressive enough it won't be a problem.

If you're trying to do the back with it....good luck. It can be done on simple windows though. When I install it I just use regular film on the back. No one tries to car jack people through the rear window here.

4mil piece of cake, I would pre cut a template out of tinted film or scrap film, cut out pattern with scissors or knife on a glass table and you are set to go... shrinking 4mil is sometimes easier than tinted...

VW Touareg from yesterday, 30mil sides, 4mil front and back glasses....
