I have done it in one piece. It was mine, so I could play with it. This was in like 1996 using atr 30 bronze.

The key is to go vertical and shrink on the sides. With newer lift and pull methods, it may not be as much of a

bizatch as I remember. I've done a 1piece on 4dr cutlass, old saturn, Porsche targas(not so bad).

Having said that, I WILL NOT accept those any more! ( maybe the targa!)

Do it once so you can say you have, but it just ain't worth it!

I charge big for these. And two piece them. Seam doesn't show at all, going for the one piece just isn't worth grey hair in my head. Raising my blood pressure...

Did my first 944 on friday and reading previous posts on this forum was not looking forward to it, especially as it was a strip and retint. Did it in 2 pieces quite easily and took me just under 2 hrs for the back glass. No big deal and I would do it again allow maybe 3-4 hrs for the whole car.
