Hey they TD members. I just need to take a minute to say thanks to Judd and family. Valiant has been nothing but prompt and helpful. I have been using them for about ....? 6 or so years now. I use their Sirrius and a bit of the DR residential.

 

Never have I had to ask or beg for prompt service or a great film. I have had a warranty issue and not only did I believe the sincerity in Mark, Judd, and Pappa bears (lol) voice, I was very fairly compensated for my time. one thing that sticks in my mind is that I needed my shipment sent FedEx instead of UPS. Judd was not offered fedex pick up, it just was not an option I try to, so he drove my shipment across town just so I was happy. :) This happened more than once and I just asked if it was possible for my convenience. 

 

As for the product I used this film back home in NW Indiana and did honestly hundreds of pieces of glass and the color was stable, adhesive held, and scratch coat was tough.I know it's a white box film but I have used it and approve it. lol

@Hungry&fat your in indiana right? You need 35% and judd has it. Tell him I said merry christmas.

If you apply 30 I don't care I just want to make sure your customers who want to be legal are and you need 35% to achieve that in IN. Cheers brother pm me when you get a chance.

      EXPERIENCED TINT & PPF INSTALLER NEEDED IN NORTH DALLAS

      I am looking for an experienced Window Tint and/or PPF installer for a new shop opening in North Dallas (Frisco, Prosper, McKinney area). Must be damn good with a strong work ethic and put out quality work. You’ll have plenty of freedom but work is expected to get done as customers come first.       TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      All Right cool. I've been practicing with an inexpensive tint I found on amazon. Its called Rockrose. I'm just about ready to make some cards to pass around to get clientele. I've been debating if I should start with Puremax cuz its a lot cheaper or Geoshield cuz of the great quality I've heard of. I'll probably go with Geoshield so I can make it easy on myself and make sure I do great quality work for my customers. Are you already doing doing jobs for customers? If so, did you stop using the Puremax and now only use Geoshield?

      Heavy Ghosting - Geoshield "Geo" Line

      Ghosting week require a smoother, more even and spread out shrink. Look at my old "ryk shrink" using 2 heart guns with an over/under setup. That would be my suggestion.

      Heavy Ghosting - Geoshield "Geo" Line

      Hey all, I am not a pro tinter but more or less just someone who likes to experiment / DIY. Wanted to ask if there was anyone here who has used the Geoshield "Geo" line for automotive purposes? I really like the color, but I get really bad ghosting for anything that requires decent shrinking. The film is specced as architectural, but has a PS adhesive so some use it in auto applications. I sent an email to see if that is the reason why it's for flat glass .. lol This is a sputtered TiN film and has a beautiful color imho. This reminds me of Huper Optik, and not quite sure but I think Johnson had a line called "InsulatIR" that I could never get my hands on to try. The film has a slightly purplish reflection (TiN I guess), when put on green auto glass, filters out and looks super neutral. ❤️ I've had it on my auto for a while but my rear window is a mess when the sun hits it (ghosting) and was curious if this is just not suitable for auto Any info would be appreciated. Skill issue, ie: shrink with lower heat? lol Thanks.

      chameleon window tint good quality

      If you don't mind trying to source some, there is a large Japanese manufacturer that makes a bunch of dichroic - looking films. It might be your style, but it would be hard to get your hands on some. https://www.braintec.co.jp/filmlab/ I believe some of the films do have decent heat-rejection, but because of the nature of the films, looking through them can be really funky. They are well-known in Japan and would likely be of decent quality. Also, very expensive. Depending on where you are, shipping would also be $$$.

      TintX Puremax and Koolmax

      I feel the difference in quality with geoshield. Not only is it easier to peel the liner off but shrinking feels better and I think the material feels slightly thicker(helps with not creasing) Only downside that the price noticeably different. For mainly everything Its atleast another 100 on top of for example stuff from tints Lexen. I haven’t tried solarfree either.

      At least twice, yes. Although since we don't know what vehicle it is you're planning to tint, that was a bit presumptuous of me.
